Ten years of experience and students from over 15 countries.

Espacio Sonoro is an educational project focused on digital music production, music industry knowledge, and artistic development. Combining a structured curriculum with personalized mentoring, it supports students at every stage of their growth.

Beyond technical skills, we also address topics such as artistic identity, professional development, and the practical realities of today's music industry, helping students build a sustainable and personal creative practice.

Methodology

All lessons are delivered online through one-on-one sessions, allowing each student to progress at their own pace while following a structured curriculum.

The program combines technical training with individualized mentoring, adapting each lesson to the student's interests, and long-term goals without losing the consistency of a comprehensive educational path.

Curriculum

The curriculum covers both the technical and creative aspects of electronic music production, including:

Ableton Live (interface, workflow, and advanced features)

Sampling, synthesis, and sound design

Custom instruments and audio effects

Rhythm programming and groove development

Frequency balance, EQ, and filtering

Audio analysis and metering

Advanced MIDI and audio processing

Arrangement, mixing, and mastering

Routing and dynamic processing

Creative workflow and production techniques

Music industry fundamentals and professional development

History

Founded by DJ and producer William Arist, Espacio Sonoro began in Montevideo, Uruguay, operating within the facilities of AUDEM (Uruguayan Association of Musicians) as part of EMA (AUDEM's School of Music), where it led the department of new technologies and digital music production.

Over time and due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, the project expanded internationally through online courses, making its training accessible to students worldwide while maintaining the same educational philosophy and structured learning approach.
